All positions require PA Criminal Clearance, PA Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Criminal History Clearance, physical exam and current TB test prior to employment. Education Coordinator

Position will supervise infant/toddler teaching staff and classrooms. Bachelor in ECE or or a related degree with 30 credits in early childhood education and supervision experience required. Must be willing to obtain an I/T CDA within one year of hire. Would be responsible for supervising classrooms in two different locations: East Stroudsburg and Tobyhanna.

Lead Teacher

Needed for a Pre-K Counts classroom of children ages 3-5 at The Mountain Center in Tobyhanna. Parent engagement responsibilities are expected. Required: bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a bachelor's in a related field with 30 credit hours of ECE courses and at least three years experience working with preschool children in a classroom setting. Must possess PA Early Childhood Certification or be willing to obtain within six months of hire. Full-time/full-year with benefits. Infant/Toddler Lead Teachers

Needed for classrooms at The Mountain Center in Tobyhanna. Parent engagement responsibilities are expected. Required: bachleor's degree in early childhood education or a bachelor's in a related area with 30 credits of ECE courses and at least three years experience with preschool children in a classroom setting (at least two years experience working with young children). Behavior Intervention Coach

(Note: There is not a current opening for this position, but applications will be kept on file for when an opening occurs.)   A bachelor's degree in psychology or social work is necessary for this full-time position. Also required and preferred is  knowledge of/experience in behavior intervention approaches appropriate with preschool children, a strong ability to establish a positive relationship with preschoolers, staff and families, and the ability to coach skills to staff congruent with the Head Start philosophy. Salary commensurate with experience, knowledge and skills (as demonstrated through the interview process). Assistant Teachers and Classroom Substitutes

Will support and assist lead teachers in implementing appropriate curriculum, routines and classroom management for infants, toddlers or preschoolers. Openings are at the Tobyhanna Mountain Center. Must have a minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) or willingness to obtain a CDA within a year of hire. At least two years experience with young children is necessary.
