Programs
We provide leadership, career exploration, and employability, and entrepreneurial training. Our program encourages youth ages 12-14 to take an active role in their future career.
Project Success
Project Success participants are in-school and out-of-school youth (14-24 years old) who engage in Project Success Sessions on Saturdays throughout the school year and organize and facilitate the weekly Radio Show (two days a week). The goal is to improve students’ ability to identify post secondary career goals and the steps necessary to achieve them. This program presents self-sufficiency tools to Monroe County youth, empowering them to take an active role in exploring career choices and defining their future career goals. This program also provides resume-writing sessions leading up to mock interviews with human resources staff from local businesses. This program inspires youth to be positive role models and civic leaders who will strive to make a difference in their future careers. The participants will have job-shadowing and networking opportunities to explore the careers of their choice, build their social and emotional learning skills, and learn and grow in an amazing, positive environment.
Project Success Beyond
Project Success Beyond is a transition program for at-risk out-of-school youth (OSY) in Monroe County. Participants (18-24) will engage in all YES programs with the goal of enhancing school-related cognitions and behaviors. This program improves students’ ability to identify post secondary career goals and the steps necessary to achieve them. The goal is to improve academic performance, promote school connectedness and life satisfaction, and decrease disciplinary actions. This program will also include a school-based suicide prevention program designed to build socio-ecological protective influences across a full student population, using OSY leaders from diverse social cliques who will—with adult mentoring—develop and deliver messaging aimed at changing the norms and behaviors of their peers. These participants will focus on mentoring by using a multifaceted approach to foster academic success, improve mental and emotional health, and increase labor market success.

This program not only provides a wage, but encourages positive work habits and attitudes, as well as a sense of personal self-worth and responsibility.
Out of School Youth Re-Entry Program
Re-Entry target youth ages 18-24 who serve time in an out-of-home placement.
