East Stroudsburg, PA— Pumpkin and face painting, a moon bounce, balloon twisting, cupcake decorating and music will be part of the festivities at Family Fun Day, being held on Saturday, Sept. 15, at Dansbury Park in East Stroudsburg.

The free, annual event is open to the public and sponsored by Pocono Services for Families and Children. It runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine, in and around the park’s pavilion.

Highlights of the day will include free books, a hula hoop contest, community agencies and a firetruck from the East Stroudsburg Fire Department. A tricky tray with lots of great prizes/gift baskets will be part of the fun.

There will be refreshments, too, and some seasonal activities like “guess the weight of the pumpkin”.
